Meet the bootfitter (15 minutes)
Not ready for a full bootfitting appointment?
If you simply want a chat with the boofitter or a health assessment of existing ski boots, book in for an informal 15 mins with the bootfitter.
If no appointments showing on the on-line system, ring for availability.
Sidas or Superfeet footbeds - moulding and fitting appointment for insoles (25 minutes)
(No need to book separately if booking a Bootfitting appointment.)
Custom fitting of heat-moulded Sidas or Superfeet footbeds or selection and fitting of correct Sidas or Superfeet pre-moulded footbeds.
Price = Cost of footbeds and any technical modifications. Average £45 to £85
Boot fitting appointment - for purchase (1.5 hours)
Expert guidance in selecting ski or snowboard boots.
Includes heat moulding liner and shell on compatible boots and any basic boot adjustments.
Plus any further customisation that is required.

Boots purchased elsewhere
Boot fitting appointment - boots bought elsewhere (30 - 45 minutes)
For new boots purchased elsewhere:
We will measure your feet and assess fit and suitability of the boot, make adjustments, recommend suitable footbeds (charged separately) and heat-mould your boot liners.
For used boots that you originally purchased elsewhere:
We will assess the fit and condition of your existing boots and make adjustments, volume reduction or liner modifications and further recommendations, where relevant.
Appointment clost = £50
Plus additional costs if any 'Further boot services' listed below are required:

Additional services include shell moulding (where compatible), and shell stretches for width, bunions, ankle punches etc.
If any of these additional ‘workshop’ processes are needed e.g. shell stretching, the boots will need to be left with us and collected at a later date.
Please note we are unable to use heat equipment on older boots over 8 years old or boot liners which have been well worn.
Boot shell stretchShell stretch for pressure points eg width, bunion, ankle = from £20 per stretch / per boot.
Volume reducers / heel lifts / ankle hold
Average cost = £10-£20.
Custom footbeds
Custom fitting of heat-moulded Sidas or Superfeet footbeds or selection and fitting of correct Sidas or Superfeet pre-moulded footbeds.
Average cost = £45 to £85
Heated footbeds (fitting & supply) from £145 (boots left and to be collected by arrangement)
NB. You will need to attend in person for us to assess the fit and may need to leave your boots with us and collect at a later date if any of the further workshop processes are required.
For boots purchased at the Alpine Room and fitted by a BSBA qualified ski boot fitter, the above re-fitting services are usually free of charge when identified during a boot re-fit appointment, except for the cost of parts (inner soles, heel lifts etc).
