Great for carving turns and tackling different types of terrain. Perfect on the groomers, but for those that like to ski all the slopes of the resort in varied conditions these also handle the slush and soft snow with ease and stability.

The Disruption 78C W ski (with Marker ER3 10 Compact Quikclik bindings) from K2. The Disruption 78C W is the complete package – nimble and lively thanks to its carbon I-Beam construction and still delivers the edge grip you need to arc some serious turns on the hardpack. Designed with a more forgiving construction than its Ti siblings, the 78C can handle few bumps, while still letting you charge down the fall line. With classic Disruption construction, the 78C’s Speed Rocker and Carbon I-Beam keep things stable, while Dark Matter Damping reduces chatter, resulting in improved edge control and performance.

Features:

Radius: 14.4 @ 160

Tip/Waist/Tail Widths: 123-78-108 (@160cm)

Construction: Carbon/wood core, Carbon i-Beam, Aspen Core, Dark Matter Damping (DMD), Powerwall

Rocker: Speed rocker

Constructions:

Carbon i-Beam (Full length uni-directional carbon running from tip to tail, providing increased accuracy and energy along the entire length of the ski.)

Aspen Core (Lightweight and resilient, great all-around material).

Dark Matter Damping DMD (Dark Matter Damping is a process where K2 sandwich a polymeric damper between two layers of high modulus carbon, and strategically place it along the ski edge.
